Biržai 1923

A real picture postcard sent from Biržai in 1923 to Dresden, Germany. The sender mentions the location where the picture was taken: "Ruinen alten Schlossen in Biržai" (ruin of the old castle in Biržai), still standing today and beautifully restored. The card was made by a photo studio in Biržai, P.Ločeris. The inscription "Vokietija" near the stamps means "Germany" in lithuanian.
Acquired in 2003 in Dresden, Germany.
