Today i have selected 2 registered covers from the banking sector sent from Kaunas central post office at Laisvės Alėja during the First Republic.
The first one is registered cover sent in 1939 from the Lietuvos komercijos Bankas / Lithuanian Commercial Bank to the Czech National Bank in Prague. It uses a meter stamp with the inscription of the bank. Interesting part is that there is a cancellation on the meter stamp.
Acquired in 2003 in Prague, Czech Republic.
The second one is a registered airmail / Oro paštu(declination of "Oro paštas" when using "by") sent in 1937 by the Centralinis Žydų Bankas / Central Jewish Bank to Lloyds Bank in London.
Acquired in 2005 in Prague, Czech Republic.
