All 3 covers posted from the Deutsche Dienspost Ostland in Schaulen, now Šiauliai, on 1942. The first 2 covers are registered (Einschreiben) mails. The last item is not a registered mail but it is particularly interesting from the fact that it has been posted from the Gebietskommissar in Schaulen (District police department of Šiauliai). The stamps overprinted "Ostland" was used in the German occupied Baltic region (present Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and a part of Belarus).
First cover acquired in 2009 in Tokyo, the others at Ebay Germany in 2005 and 2007.
